BORN IN 1954 I GREW UP IN SYDNEY.
IN 1970, AS A TEENAGER I TRAVELLED TO LONDON TO STUDY FINE ART AT KINGSTON ART COLLEGE. I WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY THROUGH BRITAIN, SCANDINAVIA AND EUROPE DURING A FOUR YEAR PERIOD BEFORE RETURNING TO SYDNEY. AFTER MEETING MY WIFE ELIZABETH MY CAREER PATH TOOK A CHANGE IN DIRECTION AND I BECAME A SUCCESSFUL RETAIL SHOP DESIGNER FOR THE NEXT 37 YEARS. IT WAS DURING THIS TIME I DISCOVERED THE JOY OF WATERCOLOUR. I PURSUED THE MEDIUM FROM 1992 UNTIL NOW. I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED FROM SYDNEY TO TUROSS HEAD ON THE NEW SOUTH WALES SOUTH COAST AND AM NOW PAINTING FULL TIME. I HAVE HAD 3 SOLO EXHIBITIONS ALL SUCCESSFUL AND HAVE TAUGHT DRAWING AND PAINTING PERIODICALLY DURING MY CAREER. ENTERING ART SHOWS HAS ENABLED ME TO WIN MANY FIRST PRIZE AWARDS AND MY WORKS ARE IN MANY INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE COLLECTIONS. I PROMOTE MY ARTWORK AT THE OLD BUS DEPOT MARKETS KINGSTON ACT |
